Application - Emergency Services Radio

Project details - A very complex and challenging project featuring significant product down-sizing with increased functionality. Very tight packaging requirements that demanded that everything be small and light, yet tough enough to survive in extreme conditions and hostile environments, and even user abuse. A multi-part assembly consisting of 4 silicone rubber keypads, multi-layer PCB, flex circuit assembly to be attached to the PCB and a custom, backlit COG LCD. Jayco's packaging fully met the design brief and the assemblies have proven to be extremely reliable in the field.
