Application - Helicopter Data Recorder

Project details - Military data recorders have to survive in the toughest environments and operate flawlessly under extreme conditions. This one also had to be compact and light enough for use in helicopters. We designed a silicone rubber keypad assembly with stainless steel domes and a fiber optic back-lighting system mounted in a machined aluminum bezel. Military grade hardware and connectors and a custom rear printed overlay with integral display window completed the assembly.
