Application - Commercial Global Positioning System

Project details - This is a professional GP system used in a variety of applications including land surveying. The keypad meets MIL SPEC 810F environmental standards while looking good and easy to use in a thin lightweight package. Silicone rubber keys over stainless steel domes mounted on a gold PCB get the job done. Another unique challenge of this keypad was designing the navigation keys in such a way to allow the embedded speaker to work effectively while maintaining water resistance.
